Stock records and accounts dated 1869 - 1903. Mainly sheep including ewes, rams, culls, wethers, lambs, sheared, dry stock,
bells, purcases and sales etc.; fatstock; horses (including mares for service with name of owner, name of stallion, date of foaling, filly or colt). Also Roads Account 1879-1887,1898: account of work on roads - carts, men, spars, sand etc and other Council expenses.

The copies of the diaries are dated between 1889 and 1926 and contain brief entries for each day. They relate to both personal and farm activities and appear to relate to a comparatively small general farm.
For example: "stayed at house and made a set of steps for the dairy"; "reaped 1 1/2 acres oats for seed"; "stocked up oats and made a rake"; commenced putting in culvert down by cottage"; ''2 loads of hay - too green"; "grubbing large boulder stones out of 18 acres"; "went to morning service ¬ Archdeacon Richards preached"; "made organ stool for Black River Church"; "party of young people from Smithton for evening"; "picked the quinces and some apples, killed a sheep"; "8 loads of cut up wood for home during winter"; "putting up wire fence by potato shed to let calves get shelter under the pines"; "pottering around all day, Leon called"; "1/2 day in vegetable garden"; "marked lambs. Worked 4 hours at P.O."; "Carl finished ploughing 6 acres for peas"; "helped to cut chaff for Mr L. Medwin"; "carting hay, Frank Medwin with team". The entries appear to relate to a comparatively small general farm and by 1918 Anderson's children (daughter at Stanley, and Leon) were grown up and were living independently. One diary is dated 1889 and was much damaged with parts of pages tom or worn away. The 1889 entries are similar (eg: "made bullock yoke"; "Joe took load of potatoes to township"; "boiled pig potatoes").

Stereoscopic views (i.e. pairs of photographs, 2 & half ins. X 3 ins. Taken with twin lenses about 6 ins. apart and mounted to be viewed through a "stereoscope" to give a three dimensional effect). Most were made for general sale by S Clifford, Hobart Town (some also have the stamp of T Williamson, Chemist, or d'Emden, who presumably sold them). One is endorsed ms "M Allport 1862" (Queechy), a well-known amateur photographer, and a few are on plain, unprofessional mounts, one of these being initialed in pencil "J M W".

Twenty-three scripts of ABC 'Spoken English' radio broadcasts for schools, written by Sansom, sometimes with Ruth Sansom's assistance. Sansom recorded most of these with the assistance of his colleagues from the Speech Education Centre.

Further letters from Sansom to the Labour Exchange, Chipping Norton, to 'Peter' describing Spicelands Centre building and the daily routines, and to Mr Foulis about LAMDA matters. Two letters from Jonathon Field to Sansom about plans to jointly operate a market garden at 'Tinker's Orchard'.

Brown manila folder headed 'Some late letters to Clive from Ruth after he died'. There are five handwritten letters which reflect on past events, work, habits, relationships, etc, mentioning people such as Marjorie Gullan, Gertrude Kerby, Mona Swan, Martin Miles and Robert Gittings. One of the letters describes Ruth Sansom's religious beliefs and concludes with her poem 'Sweet song of Eden ... '. Another reflects on the Sansoms' 1937 holiday in the Austrian Tyrol. Another mentions Hilary Spurling' s biography of Paul Scott.
