H.M. growing timber suitable for naval purposes or for highways, quit rent of 4s., land not to be sold or leased for 5 years. Noted as "exhibited 4 August 1841 in the case of Robert Russell for a grant of 8 ac. 3 r. 19 p. in Launceston" and "ex. in claim of George ?Cullam 12 November 1847" and endorsed "Rev. R. Russell".

Lighthouse Tender, "Lady Loch", ex Gunboat. Built in 1886 by Campbell, Sloss & McCann in Footscray, Melbourne for the Victorian Dept. of Public Works. Iron Steamship of 531 tons. Built for use as a lighthouse tender and serviced lighthouses around the south east coast and Tasmania. Owned by Victorian Ports and Harbours Dept. William Gunn from Glasgow: he had asked parents for consent to his marriage with a Miss Brown, he was more mature than when he left home, was Vice President of the Andersonian University and reporter to Uncle's paper - written on paper with printed heading "Office of North British Daily Mail" (1851), reluctant to give advice but thought children should obey their mother before their aunt (1859); settlements and mortgage.

Ruth Sansom's handwritten autobiography written from the perspective of the age of 85. This includes memories of her childhood in Tasmania and details of her family's history, associations with the Soundy family and Walter and Sylvia Stiasny, Diana Large, Nan Chauney, W.H.Perkins and Roy Chappell. It mentions the regular poetry reading sessions at the Sansom home in Mount Stuart, and includes her notes and thoughts on mysticism.

Ruth Sansom' s handwritten autobiography - '1960s and mysticism'. This mentions work at the Tasmanian Speech Education Centre.

Ruth Sansom' s handwritten autobiography - 'The War Years'. This describes her school days, her work in England, the Sansoms' friendship with Paul Scott, and their relationship with Jonathon Field, and Clive Sansom's illness at the end of the Second World War.

Sansom's handwritten poems in a green and violet covered notebook marked with the archive number DX 18 SAS 88.36. Frontispiece contains Ruth Sansom's poem to her husband. The book is annotated 'Before marriage' and there is at least one further annotation in Ruth Sansom's handwriting. Poems include 'Chopin Noetume', 'The Mirror', 'The Greyhound', 'Sonnet', 'The Voyager', 'Words cannot save', 'Millstream', Spring-Yellow', 'Convalescence', 'The Birds", and 'Nightingale'. Sansom has added pencilled amendments to some of the poems.
