Written from Tullochgorum: John's scarlet fever, pleased with contents of trunk, Maria liked her things - bonnet very ladylike and becoming - dresses fit well, day fixed for 9 February [? marriage] - bishop to perform ceremony, Miss Meadows bridesmaid, afraid to have Fanny and John in case James and Charlotte's children take it (?scarlet fever), Maria's little boy, Montague's visit. Cross-written.
