This remained the nucleus of the school, but alterations and additions were made frequently.

Sarah Benson Mather passed away in the early morning, just as the cocks began to crow. The text which heads these verses was deeply impressed on the minds around her.

George Fordyce Story lived with the Cottons at Kelvedon and contributed to their farming efforts.
