Accounts including: wages for reaping, building, fencing, ploughing etc., sales of wheat, purchases of flour, tobacco, sugar, tea etc. Also stock account and record of foaling (Diamond, Gypsy, Blossom) 1878-83. The accounts are mainly those of George Marshall but the later ones were kept by D. Marshall, including accounts of the estate of the late G. Marshall. Added at front: 'Indian sauce from Horace R. Spearman, 13 Feb. 1896' (recipe).

Baby's Record Book of Peter Godfrey Marshall born 1922, son of George Douglas and Beatrice (nee Terry) Marshall, went to Clemes College, 1928, married Mary Meston and died 1965.

Facsimile copy of Sir Douglas Mawson’s proclamation of British sovereign rights over the territory of King George II Land and Oates Land between latitude 660 S. and the South Pole. Dated 5 January 1931.
The original document was buried under rocks in the Antarctic for 46 years. It has now been restored by the National Library of Australia, Canberra.

Topics reflect women's interests: anecdotes and folklore; poems and stories by Australian authors {e.g article about Marie Bjelke Peterson, Tasmania, novelist(; local history (e.g paragraph about descendents living in Tasmania of Capt. Michael Connor of the First Fleet); news of members of the family (e.g brother, A R Blackmore enlists and resigns from teaching at Adventure bay School).
A few cuttings annotated in the hand of Ivy Moseley, identifying "Lassie from Nugent" and "vino of Nugent" as herself. (e.g "Labour Unity" by 'Lassie').

Scrapbook of Myrtle Walker c.1913 -1965. Cuttings pasted into ledger book of W A Walker, grocer, c.1903 -1905. Some loose cuttings. Contains also ms. copies of light verse attributed to A. A. Walker. After 1929 entries fall off in number and many relate to family and descendants (e.g news of an underground lake located at Tyenna in the Ross Walker cave).
